Certification :
900+ farmers provide their cherries to this washing station, located near the Kiri river. Added to the usual SL28 and SL34 varietes we find in Kenya, we now find Batian which resists better to climate change and diseases.
The farmers who deliver cherries take away the coffee pulp and they mix it with their cow manure and use it as a fertiliser for the coffee trees.
Cherries are pulped and put to fermentation overnight, they are then graded and put to try for 8 to 14 days, according to the climate.
