When you combine exceptional terroir, excellent savoir-faire, and Q grader cupper, you obtain gems. And this lot is no exception.

As in Equador with Arnaud Causse Las Tolas farm, the high humidity and rain level is a real problem for processing coffee and naturals are not an option. And it's all for the best, as this wahsed lot is fantastic !

This family hase been producing coffee for 3 generations. Renardo's grandfather was a humanist doctor, and greatly impacted the vision of the family. Work and life conditions are an important in this farm. A nursery for the children, a balanced diet and a far superior payment for workers to what's available in farms in this country is proof of the commitment of the family. Jacqueline, Renardo's wife, is a knowledgable Q grader, whose lots trust cup of excellence tables each year. She gave a 89 points to this lot !

Moreover, this year, the farm has started its transition towards organic production (3 years long process) with the help of the french importer Belco. And the results are already visible in chemical tests. No more traces of pesticides, herbicides or fongicides residues are present in the beans.

The cherries are harvested when mature and a standard washed process is done with drying on patios.
