Gamoji is a forest coffee in an old production zone. Gamoji means low lands because this lot comes from the lowest (1500m !) part of the forest.
Of course, you'll never see the best lots getting decafeinated, because the decaf process is always harmful but this one has been carefully selected and the result is quite nice.
It has been decafeinated in Germany, using CO2 method, which allows decaf extraction while limiting the impact on other coffee bean compounds. But as the bean needs to be moisturized before and dried after the process, you still get specific decaf aromas, colour and look for these kind of coffees.
