Complementary informations :

This coffee comes from the Gathaiti wetmill, owned by the "Gathaiti Farmer's Cooperative Society".

Coffees from this region are highly appriciated, and for sure, the following facts are linked to that :

- Soil is of Nitisol type, rich in nutriment, deep and permeable. A must in the tropical areas.

- There is a big competition between well known mill in the area. These mills sell coffee via auctions so prices are high and producers can choose where to sell their cherries. The highest the quality, the better the price they'll get.

After depulping, the coffee is fermented in water from 16 to 24h and then soaked again in the Gatomboya stream water for 16 to 18h. Then, they're dried on african beds for 21 days, and protected again the sun and humidity.

AB grade indicates the size of the beans (AA 17/18, AB 16/17, PB Peaberries)
