This coffee comes from a washing station created in 2009 and constantly produces high quality coffee, around 10 containers a year (200 to 300 bags per container). Coffee in this region is an important cash crop. 700 to 800 smallholders provide their cherries to this washing station. The production is organic by default but not certified. Every tree produce around 100 to 200g of green coffee.
Fermentation in tanks lasts 24 to 48h depending on the weather, then the coffee is separated by density in water channels and sank again for 24h in clean water, then, finally, dried on african bed during 10 to 12 days.
