More infos :
This 40 hectares farm produces coffee on 6. It borders the famous Ngorongoro National Park and is regularly crossed by elephants and buffaloes that damage crops. The farm has chosen to live with these risks that don't diminishes the quality of their production.
Crops grow in the shade of native trees and the insecticide treatments are only done when necessary and leaf by leaf. Soil fertilization is done by the recycling the pulp and parchment of cherries.
The harvest is manual and ensures the selection of ripe cherries. Water coming from the washed process is isolated and cleaned.
Socially, the firm regularly makes donations to education and health sectors in the district of Karatu. Between 2003 and 2005, it participated in the construction of a station for collecting rainwater for irrigation of crops for a nearby village.
