Daterra is a farm that allies research, environment protection and sustainable practices. To the contrary of most of the other farms, they make lots of blends of their various beans and process in order to obtain specific cups.
The farm is subdivised in what they call "quadras". Each one with a specific varietal. This allows a continuous and specific follow up of the plants in order to obtain beans with specific charactiristics in order to get the right aroma when they blend them.
Hence, it's no surprise to see that Daterra coffees are usually used in competition like WBC (World Barrista Championship), 6 of the 8 2008 finalists used Daterra in their blend.

C'est un délice. Rond et doux à la fois. Une belle longueur, et hum.... l'odeur du café fraichement torréfié... A recommander pour ceux qui apprécient un goût équilibré. Et merci à la maison Cataldi de la petite note "perso" sur la facture, ça fait plaisir ;o) |
