After being devastated by a disease attacking Catimor varietal (90% of the surface of the farm), this farm has been replanted in 2002 with more resistant varietals.
The farm borders the national park Cerro Frio, bio-corridor housing the bird called "Quetzal", sacred to the Mayans and national symbol of Guatemala.
It is currently building a new environment for its employees and seasonal. School, day care, hospital and hydroelectric powerplant are in the program.
